After pre-orders opened on June 25, 2026, all eyes are on GTA 6 Trailer 3. Here's what's actually known as of July 2, 2026 — no empty hype.
Is there an official date?
No. As of now, Rockstar hasn't confirmed a specific date for Trailer 3 beyond its public communications. The studio has said it's ramping up marketing over the summer, which makes a drop plausibly imminent — but any "date" circulating online is a rumor until it's official.

What Trailer 3 should show
Based on Rockstar's patterns (and the Red Dead Redemption 2 playbook), the third trailer should be cinematic and story-focused rather than a long gameplay segment:
- More on the Jason and Lucia relationship (see our characters guide).
- The antagonists and the tone of Leonida (our map guide).
- New neighborhoods beyond central Vice City.
The real gameplay trailer would come later, likely late summer or early fall.
